OH!! My GOSH!!! Does it get much better than this? I think not!!!

Considering how jewel tones are EVERYWHERE on the runways this season, I almost jumped out of my boots when I saw this little number hanging there, begging for love! *sigh* Needless to say this is a TOTAL SCORE, y'all! And from Carolina Herrera, no less. That woman can do no wrong in my eyes. Her designs are always so feminine and classic, but fresh and unique. I don't know how she does it, but she continues to crank out masterpiece after masterpiece. And I could just eat them up with a SPOON!

Okay, so this dress is truly AMAZING! The fabric is a crisp ribbed silk/polyester. I'm not sure what that type of weave is called, but it's got great body to it and the flounce at the bottom makes it a swirly good time to wear!!! And check out those pockets and the detail! HOW FUN! Buttons, criss-crosses, and topstitching give this dress extra flirtability and a not-so-serious edge. I can see this at any kind of fete, be it a wedding, easter, or ...gosh.....you name it.

So get your bidding hat on, ladies. This one's gonna go fast! And if you don't get movin, you'll be left GREEN with envy!!! *snicker* .

WHERE'D YOU GET THOSE PEEPERS?

Well, I've done it again. I'm deciding to part with another wonderful item in my closet. *sniff* I think this change of heart is due to the fact that I've realized there are too many glorious things that sit there, having been worn only one time, and end up never truly getting the "love" they deserve.

Yep, that's me...I'll fall in love, wear it once, and then hang on to it, just because I can't bear to let it go. Wait a minute...that sounds a lot like my policy on men!!! *giggle*

Oh well! Whatever the case, these gorgeous laides need a brand new home. They truly deserve to be worn to a fancy party or wedding, and/or go clubbing like mad this season, and it just ain't gonna happen here. *sigh*

Okay...so TELL me these shoes don't just sing out fabulous! Aren't they some of the BEST ever??? They are soooooo gorgeous in person. The smokey grey satin is just to DIE for. I'd do ten backflips over the color alone! And the antique-y looking trim on the top. Oh, it just goes PERFECTLY with the platform, peep toe, and retro-shaped heel! Girl...you will be the envy of the party! Everyone will have to ask about them, wondering if you found them at some amazing vintage shop. But no....every tiny detail screams luxury, down to the shiny silver logo buckles. Pure elegance, only the way the talented Ms. Prada can do!!! These ladies have been worn only ONE time, so they are as good as new, except for the soles, which show minor wear. YAY!!!!

I'm absolutely BREATHLESS over this gorgeous CHANEL camisole! It's so light and diaphinous, yet the silk lining adds just enough opacity to give a tad of discreetness. And the lace is just to DIE for! Look at that fabulous quintessential camillia design on the black background! ***SIGH***There's a soft drape at the bust that adds the right amount of shape, cascading softly over your curves. And those buttons down the back.....CHANEL logo all the way!

I can just envision this piece making the perfect statement on it's own, or being the ideal base under a jacket or sweater. Oh...stop me! This could do so many things and the style...well, it will NEVER go out of style! I'm a laid-back kind of girl and I love my designer jeans to no end...I would love this with a big, fluffy soft cashmere cardi with my indispensible Rock & Republics! AGH! Pure "It GIrl" glamour!

Farewell to (These) Arms

Oh, girls...this is IT! I have officially lost my mind!!! I rarely list vintage pieces, and this is one of my absolute TREASURES in the world!!! (I'm crying as I type this!) But sadly, this little ditty has gotten a tad too snug on me. *blushes* But this is HANDS-DOWN, one of the most FABULOUS things I've ever owned!!! And it breaks my heart to see this go. However, it is too darn AMAZING not to have a great, loving home and a HOT MAMASITA to wear it around!!! It's just not fair to this yummy jacket!!!

Okay...so here's the scoop: I bought this as a vintage piece from a lady in LA who consigns cast-offs from ladies-who-lunch, and starlets alike. (I really wanted her to tell me which "It" girl had this, but she didn't tell....*sigh*) So we can just imagine Rachel Bilson or Sienna Miller sporting this around town....Can't you just SEE it? But she DID tell me that the girl who had this was a regular at high-end joints like Barneys and Maxfield, if that gives you any clue!!!

True to vintage form, there are no labels inside, save for the "tattoo'd" one that I have pictured. It reads "Benedetta Novi TELEGRAM". Now how much does this remind you of something spectacular and sexy from the amazing RICK OWENS??? You know...his crazy cool motocros jackets? *thud*

I'm dead!!!

The leather is just amazing. It's the type that warms up and forms to your body, giving you that sexy, bad*ass look! I LOOOOOVE the raw seams and exposed zippers. I PROMISE you...this will be one EVERY BODY YOU MEET will be asking about!!!! I wore this with jeans and heels and even over a summery dress. It is just fabulous beyond words and will take you from season to season EFFORTLESSLY!!! It adds INSTANT CHIC to anything you put with it! I mean, you could leave your house in PAJAMAS and look MOVIE STAR COOL!!!!

Okay...so now I'm going to stop. I'm making myself sad again to see it go, but I'm also running out of room!!! *laugh* So take a peek at the picutres....I promise...you'll fall in love! *sigh*
